Notes & Combos

For the final time (for now): back on my journey to play every deck featured in Yu-Gi-Oh VRAINS and after waiting awhile Allure Queen support is here. Played by Queen for only one duel she was fodder for Ai to show how strong of a duelist he is(she deserve it for killing Earth). With only 4 new cards added to the allure queen monsters we can actually make a archetype out of it. Unfortunately, we got the nerf version of the cards unlike the anime counterparts. The cards we got require hand resources for discarding so hoping to keep handtraps/anti handtrap cards for turn 1 is nearly impossible. Especially since playing rogue decks can't play through multiple handtraps. There's still hope though. Allure dance can special summon different allure queens from the gy so we can spam the field with monsters and otk the opponent. So instead of playing turn 1 I decided turn 2 is the way the go which has it's pros and cons.

Pros:

  • We take the Maxx C Challenge. Still risky with the amount of handtrap spam but still rewarding to win.

  • The only real popular deck that goes second is Tenpai so some people scoop thinking we are tenpai.

  • People don't read Allure Palace effect not knowing I can use the effect 3 times so sometimes players do waste one negate on it.

Cons:

  • You're bricking. Common in rogue decks but worse here considering our best card allure dance is not searchable so have to rely on drawing cards

  • With Blue-Eyes being tier 1 we do struggle against it because of drillbeam negating our board breakers. In addition Ghost Ogre is on the rise so that's another handtrap we have to deal with that absolutely kills our allure queen spells.

  • No other handtraps in my build so one board breaker will probably not be enough to deal with the massive interruptions the top tier decks can do if my mulcharmys or maxx c is negated.

Would I recommend anyone playing this deck? Not right now. Before primite I would recommend it as I was able to play fiendsmith with allure queen but now primite leads to another disruption that needs to be baited out by a board breaker not fiendsmith. Does suck to end the journey with a decklist to stay away from but it is still useable as a engine in decks like white forest. If the deck does receive support all we really need is a way to search allure dance to make the deck great. Overall, the struggle was real but I'm glad I was able to do it with a pure version. A fitting end to the vrains saga.
