Introduction

I got tired of "Maxx "C"" so I decided to play stun. Also, several popular hand traps are useless against this deck.

Tips
  • Dimension Shifter: This card can win games on its own.

    • If you go first and you have normal spells in your hand, you should activate the effect of shifter in the draw phase or in the standby phase to play around cards like "Effect Veiler".
    • If you go second (or you go first but you don't have any normal spells) you should wait to see what deck your opponent is playing before activating shifter and activating it at the right time.
    • Personally, I think these are some of the optimal moments to activate shifter (the same applies to Macro Cosmos):
      • Against Snake-Eye: I personally active shifter after they search "Original Sinful Spoils - Snake-Eye"; The cost to activate Original Sinful Spoils is to send face-up card to the GY which is not possible thanks to shifter, so the opponent searched a card that cannot be activated this turn.
      • Against Azamina: If we activate this card in response to "The Hallowed Azamina" we will prevent the effect from completing correctly and "The Hallowed Azamina" will be removed from the game.
    • There are several other examples, but I think it is clear that activating the effect of shifter at the first opportunity without knowing the opponent's deck is generally a bad idea, since by waiting for the right moment we can make the opponent commit to suboptimal plays, and in case we face a deck like Kashtira or Exodia it is better to keep shifter in hand and use it to pay the cost of super polymerization.
  • Inspector Boarder: if you have a copy of "Gravekeeper's Commandant" or "Dimension Shifter", you should activate its effect before summoning Inspector Boarder.

  • Thunder King Rai-Oh: Obviously it's better to activate the effect of Gravekeeper's Commandant and the pots before summoning it. Its second effect is also useful, but it is vulnerable to "Called by the Grave"; although you can only negate Special Summons that do not start a chain.

  • Fairy Tail - Luna: This card makes an excellent combo with "Time-Tearing Morganite", and if the effects of Dimension Shifter or Macro Cosmos are active the opponent cannot negate Luna's effect.

  • Mistake: Wait for the opponent to activate an effect to add a card, such as "Wishes for Eyes of Blue", and then activate this card in response so that the opponent wastes cards and resources.

  • Dogmatika Punishment: This card's effect doesn't work if Dimensional Shifter, Macro Cosmos, etc are in play.

  • Clockwork Night: In addition to increasing the stats of our monsters, this is a good floodgate against Fiendsmith and Tenpai, Since all the opponent's monsters will become machine type, it will be impossible for them to summon "Fiendsmith's Requiem" and "Sangenpai Bident Dragion".

  • There Can Be Only One + Clockwork Night: This is a very powerful but also very dangerous combination, basically, if both cards are in play, each player will only be able to control a single monster, they can summon other monsters but these will be removed from the field immediately without being able to activate their effects, it would be disadvantageous for us if the opponent controls a monster with too high stats while these cards are in play.

  • Iron Thunder: This card is a little difficult to play correctly since it could destroy our key cards, I recommend playing it in the center of the board since that is generally where other players activate their cards.
