Notes & Combos

Hmmm, first time getting to Master 1 Yay.

There's no huge synergy between Lab and Tear, but there are several micro-synergies beyond just milling rollback, traps, and furniture (although those are big ones).

  • Metanoise works with Lady either triggering her or being set by her (Lovely can also reset metanoise).
  • Furniture can discard Trivikarma starting the whole Tear line while getting a Big Welcome.
  • Big Welcome returns the stranded TearKash to hand after a bad first turn mill for another mill 3.
  • Big Welcome can of course also protect Reinoheart from Veiler, Imperm, or banishment.

Ideal start is being able to dip into both archetypes on your first turn by having 1 of the normals (Arianna/Reino) and the free special of the other (Grief+Tear Card/Clock+furniture)

This can definitely catch a lot of people off guard since they'll blow everything on one side of the deck and have nothing for the other half. I can't say I've seen this combination before either (probably for good reason) so I'm sure some of my opponents were surprised.

Definitely a strange deck, but it was surprisingly fun to play.
