Notes & Combos

This deck was something else. I thought it was easy at first but they have so many details I had to learn the hard way (meaning: by losing). Weirdly enough the climb from Master was smoother than Diamond's. I think many players don't expect Exosister high in the ladder. I got two winstreaks of 8 wins with this build. Now to a basic combo and tips:

  1. Basic combo and tips: If you either start with Martha + another Exosister/Sakitama: we'll start by activating Martha's effect in order to bait Ash. If it goes through, summon Kaspitell > Search Sophia > Normal summon Sophia and activate her effect to draw an additional card > activate Sakitama's effect and summon Mikailis (don't activate Mikailis banishing effect yet, they tend to negate her searching effect, use that to your advantage by baiting another negate and before it gets negated, banish a card from their field or GY) > search either Returnia or Vadis. Don't get greedy: sometimes it's better to search Vadis if you have no Exosister/Aritama/Pax in hand > Set your spells and trap > Summon Magnifica in DEFENSE POSITION. You don't want to get OTKed by Matchmech decks. You need to think about your next turn if your board gets broken. If you're dealing with Snake-Eyes or Branded: SEARCH VADIS. They'll have to move stuff from the GY, it's their core. Use that to bring Asophiel and Kaspitell to turn not only their GY off but their entire turn. Do it just before they move a card out of their GY but make sure it's in the beginning of their combo so they won't have enough attack power to destroy your Exosisters. Remember to use Magnifica's banishing effect first and then you transform her into Mikailis so you can activate Returnia's second effect later during the same turn. Returnia's effect: rememember that some monsters can't be targeted in the current meta (Aka that annoying Branded fusion monster), so you'll need to perform an XYZ summon to trigger its second effect which is to banish an additional card (that's why you spend Magnifica's effect first, then summon Mikailis and FINALLY trigger Returnia). Returnia's second effect DOESN'T target. Use that to your advantage. Also you can use this trap to dodge targeting effects. E.g.: You have Gibrine and Mikailis on the field, when either of them activates their effect, your opponnent might use, Veiger, Dropplet, Impermanence, etc. Just activate Returnia to banish a card and perform the XYZ summon Magnifica and dodge the target while activating your effects.

There's currently just one replay from Master 3. The other replays are either from Diamond rank or other decks. I post most of my edited replays on other websites.
