Notes & Combos
2 months in and I already feel rogue decks will get more and more rough to climb ladders this year. With the new selection pack we got access to the new Tech Genus cards which I was excited to play as this deck feature in 5D's by Antinomy(Bruno) really impress me with the synchro summoning method. Introducing us viewers to Accel Synchro and eventually Delta Accel Synchro the playstyle of T.G is just synchro climb to our boss monsters and disrupt our opponent as much as possible. As for how to do the combos I will leave it for the Tech Genus guide written by Namenloses right here:

There is so much ways to reach your end board especially with the diabellstar engine so go grab a pen and paper and star writing the combos out so you have a nice cheat sheet when playing. The real important ones for me was the 1.5 card combos(The .5 is just a card to discard). What I can explain is the cards use in the deck and extra deck. Many people may not like the diabellstar engine cause they are tired of seeing it on the ladder but it is so useful not to have in your deck. Not only can it lead to your ideal end board but also be use to bait out all the hand traps in your opponent hands. This is extremely useful cause T.G can be disrupted by all of the common handtraps one way or another.
Your common end board is t.g glaive blaster, t.g blade blaster, and t.g close on the field. With this on your field you can toggle on and banish blade blaster using striker from the gy during the draw phase and resummon striker with glaive effect. Blade blaster will resummon during the standby phase and then during your opponent's main phase you synchro into crimson dragon which will then be made into cosmic blazar dragon. You can also use crimson dragon effect to summon Archfiend King Calamity but chances are it will get banned in the future so just be mindful if you are looking to play this deck with the mindset of summoning calamity.
My spicy choice for the extra deck is T.G Halberd Cannon because if your opponent plays through your field chances are they used a lot of resources to clear your field so now you are in a simplified game state. This makes T.G Halberd effect so deadly and just too difficult to overcome. You can definitely see how it comes in clutch in my replay. Overall I was really happy with this deck despite the hand trap spam that is currently going on the ladder.

Only one replay of T.G for February 2024.
Master 4: Quite possibly one of the top 5 games I've had on master duel since launched. My opponent played Hero's and we both summoned our ideal field only to have both wiped off the field leaving us with whatever remained of our extra deck.
