Notes & Combos
Good ol Skiptron. Honestly this might be the most competitive way to play Drytron. Going first the goal is to skip your opponents turn with the mix of amorphactor pain and thunder of ruler. This climb i legit had an 100% win-rate off of full combo turn 1. The downside is the combo line is very fragile to well timed disruption. Try to bait your opponents handtraps before going into alpha tribute zeta. You still have plays you can make through disruption with this build and if you opened up with thrust even better. If thrust is live turn 1 and you cannot full combo you have the option to thrust into thunder of ruler if you have pain access, you can also do fucho/feather storm (which is almost as good as full combo) or if all else fails turbo out vanity ruler and pray your opponent does not have the out. Speaking of thrust, the card is bonkers. It is amazing in skiptron and definitely by far MVP of this climb, tactics put in crazy work as well. For all you Draconidas fanboys, im sorry to break your heart, Quadrantids is better this meta and honestly was better in the last as well. Lab can be a sticky match up and Quadrantids can put in serious work in that match up, Natasha takes care of any need Draconids may have. If you dont want to use fucho/featherstorm , use slacker magician as a zeus target due to its targeted protection. My toughest match ups this climb were dragonlink, branded and lab. Two of those three utilize bystials so thats self explanatory & lab is a top 3 best deck in this game at the moment so theres that. Kash and purrely werent that difficult because of the techs i choose. I got some pretty cool replays so check um out, i save replays every season grinding to m1.
