It is not a blind second deck , this deck always wants to go first and bait handtraps because you can play through too much , about Talents and Evenly , you can play whatever non engine you want but the space is very limited , this deck is worse into Max C that other Runick variants because it is more combo oriented so ash is a must imo , the other 2 board breakers depend on the decks you face the most but knowing the wildwest of masterduel i like to run talents because it has a very good synergy with Runicks in general as you can draw more of them or look going first if you can can combo and adjust your board to what you saw in hand etc , Evenly is good against Yubel if they do not make the Iblee combo , Stun , Fire King but are not good against Kash because they keep Ariseheart which can be dealt with the right hand , also you can do the crash Geri play into something in attack position in the battlephase to bait an Omni then evenly them , Raigeki was also an option , Ok against Stun but it does not trade with the backrow or Necrovalley which shuts off your fountain and graveyard stuff like Rex , so you can see what you play against and what the deck is good at and plan your non engine accordingly .

talent works great going first or second in this list. but that and evenly are just emergency cards to help you handle going second. you definitely need something with a runick list to keep your board strong
