Ragnaraika is finally here i've always been wanting to try it with Traptrix since i found out about it.
Suffice to say this makes Traptrix somewhat midrange but i tried to make it as "control" as possible by having plenty of traps so i can gain lots of advantage with Sera.
This is probably the fastest i could get from Diamond 5 to Master 1 with Traptrix. Longest winstreak is 8 to Master 1
Endboard is really good, 1.5 card combo (kinda) and usually ends with
- 2 pops with Stag Sovereign
- 2 pops with Hunting Dance
- 1 banish special summoned monster or 1 spell/trap pop with Pudica or Myrmeleo when you activate your trap,
- 1 trap that you pitched to activate Holeutea
- Sera generating advantages for follow-up

Here are the combos:
(Myrmeleo + any trap)
- Summon Myrmeleo add Holeutea
- Summon Sera, activate Holeutea
- Sera effect summon Dionaea to set the trap you pitched, or if you pitched non trap hole trap then it's better to summon Myrmeleo to trigger Sera's effect to set a trap
- Link Sera and Holeutea into Jasmine
- Jasmine effect tribute the other monster to summon Evil Seed
- Seed add Bloom and Samurai Beetle, banish Beetle
- Activate Bloom summon Beetle from banishment
- Link Seed and Beetle into Skeletal Soldier
- Beetle and Soldier summon something from GY
- Link Soldier and other Ragnaraika into Mantis Monk
- Activate Monk banish 2 from GY to search trap (try to not banish Sera unless you can summon her from your field)
- Link Monk and Jasmine into Stag Sovereign
- Sometime during your opponent's turn summon Sera using Holeutea GY Effect
(Mantis + any trap)
- Summon Mantis add Arachnocampa
- Mantis into Sera, activate Arachnocampa
- Sera set Holeutea, activate holeutea
- Continue to step 3 from the 1st combo
(Holeutea + any traptrix + any trap)
- Summon traptrix, link into sera
- Activate Holutea
- Continue to step 3 from the 1st combo

Only grind game showcases here, i can't find the 1.5 card combo replay because most of the time i'm freestyling depending on my hands.
Top Secret Packs used

Notes and Tech:
- REMEMBER TO SUMMON YOUR MONSTERS ON JASMINE ZONE if you're planning to use her
- Samurai Beetle can summon a Traptrix from GY, useful to make a Rank 4
- For me, Traptrix Trap Hole Nightmare is always the priority trap card to grab because it's a monster negate
- Banishing Trap Hole is really good currently because lots of card have under 1.5k ATK. It also synergizes with Bloom which means up to 1.8k ATK monster can be banished face down
- Bottomless Trap Hole mostly for Albaz or Kitkallos
- Floodgate Trap Hole isn't seeing a lot of plays currently but it can come in clutch sometime
- Going 2nd pray you get enough handtraps and board breakers
- Didn't find lots of Snake Eyes on ladder, but usually i just scoop if i see big Apollousa and no way to deal with it
- Chain Coils is rarely used because it's not a quick effect, maybe it's better to replace it with Benghalancer for extra disruption but i'm not sure

I was messing around with a similar build and from the limited testing it feels more like a side step rather then step forward. It feels more like an alternative option rather then a superior one. I find that unfortunate since I was also looking forward to potentially a slight improvement. Soldier being able to get any tri-type would have done that on its own imo instead of only a Ragnaraika, since then you don't even necessarily need to run any of the main deck if you so choose which opens up those slots to much needed go second tools while giving you guaranteed access to hunting dance and guaranteed trap for Sera. Aa is tradition, Konami does everything they can to hinder anything not exclusively designed to be meta.

I've been playing something similar but my extra deck and overall combo are a bit different. I run Benghalancer, Rikka Strenna, and Hyperyton. The combo ends on Stag Sovereign, Benghalancer, Hyperyton, and Sara, with Hunting Dance and a hole trap set. All boosted by Bloom.
The combo lines also offer a fair bit of flexibility to play through interruption. All in all, this deck is a lot of fun and surprisingly powerful.

I've seen some combos that run Benghalancer and i don't like it because i had to banish my Skeletal Soldier to summon Benghalancer. I really like Soldier in GY for follow up plays because basically if my board got wiped and i draw any monster that isn't Ash Blossom i get to summon Skeletal Soldier into Beetle or Evil Seed which comes up a lot and has won me so many games.
For Rikka Strena into Hyperyton, i usually just use Rafflesia because it's also an extra disruption.
All in all i think it's just my playstyle, i like the deck to have more Traptrix on it with Rafflesia and Sera being the spotlight, and i love decks that has strong grind games. And yeah! the deck is so fun and really powerful.

I banish one of the link-3s and a copy of Sara. The main combo goes through two Sara so I can save Holeutea for more interruption on the opponent's turn while keeping Skeletal Solider for follow up turns. I usually use Mantis Monk as there's no need for it after the initial search and Selene Snapper tends to be better for pushing damage. The extra backrow pop helps for closing out games in my experience.

That's true, there are times where i have Sera on GY while i can also make Sera on board, so banishing Sera and Mantis Monk is possible to summon Benghalancer. So yeah seems like Benghalancer is better instead of Chain Coils but i haven't done any testing yet so maybe i'll try it later on Rating Duels. Thanks for the insight!

**** if only I knew this deck was gonna get compy, I wouldn’t have dismantled my Royal Rafflesia :( what’s the perfect ratio for the “Hole” Traps?

Man i would love a Royal Rafflesia or Sera, i have Royal Allomerus which is the reason i tried Traptrix back then, but i ended up liking the deck a lot.
I think the perfect ratio for the hole traps is different for each player depending on their playstyle (or build), but you want at least 3, excluding 3x Holeutea and 3x Imperm to maximize Sera's effects. I personally like to play more than 3 so i have options for Rafflesia lol

Playing something pretty similar and it is so much fun! Its doing really well for me too, had an 8 game win streak to hit master 5 again. I am only running Floodgate, Traptrix Trap Hole Nightmare, and Gravedigger for my Trap Hole line-up though, went the more minimalist route. I am still playing Redoer though so I don't go into Rafflesia all the time. I haven't used armored lizard at all so far though, maybe he can be cut? How is Lizard for you?

I don't play redoer because most of the time i get plant/insect locked by Evil Seed or Arachnocampa, and i might as well summon Jasmine instead of Redoer if i went uninterrupted, i guess you can summon Redoer if you have Evil Seed in hand.
I used Armored Lizard quite a lot actually, there are times where i opened Evil Seed and a Trap, so i searched Beetle and Bloom, but not banishing beetle then bloom search Armored Lizard, and with the ragnaraika monster i make jasmine to summon a traptrix, traptrix and armored lizard become Pinguicula, then Pinguicula search Arachnocampa, then Link Pinguicula into Sera and activate arachnocampa, then i get the traptrix combo going from there for extra bodies and advantage from Sera.
I rarely used the Bounce effect of Lizard though, i think i used it exactly once but that's just to help me OTK

Sadly if we don't start with any Trap then we brick, and we resort to just the Traptrix part, with Sera + 1 Trap of your choice and handtraps. If you open with Pudica + Mrymeleo however, it's still salvageable without Traps because Pudica can search the field spell for double summon, then Myrmeleo will search Trap while triggering Sera's effect to set Holeutea.

And yeah 3 evil seed because having it on the hand isn't bad at all because it can special summon itself. So you can either summon Rafflesia early instead of going for Jasmine to play around Nibiru, or if you can't special summon it from the hand, you can still Jasmine summon Evil Seed but instead of banishing Beetle, you banish Evil Seed in your hand, so you can get extra search with bloom, which is useful to search Armored Lizard to make Rafflesia
