Notes & Combos
Trap monster control! The lower power level of the event makes this very viable.
- Golgonda is an insane card that protects everything and also plusses you. Send Brigrand and search Fraktall for followup
- Azurune stops big and relevant meta boss monsters like Assembled from coming out
- Apophis is literally an omninegate!
- Anguish Pattern can pop multiple cards a turn, awesome!
- Judgment and Revolution, because backrow removal is the main way this deck can actually lose
- Punishment send Bucephalus send Garura draw 1. Or send Brigrand if you want
- Ice Dragon's Prison is always incredible in events with restricted types

why no imperial customs? it protects the trap monsters from being destroyed in battle. also cyber shadow gardna with pattern is free removal

Golgonda does the same thing as Imperial Custom a lot better. It protects everything rather than just faceup backrow, and it also survives a feather duster or lightning storm to continue protecting stuff next turn, and it also plusses you. I guess it's not a terrible card, but I already have 12 backrow protection cards in my deck, between Golgonda, Judgment, Apophis, and Revolution all being at 3 copies.
I wasn't aware of Cyber Shadow Gardna, thank you for the tip.

When Golgonda triggers, you have to send Brigrand from the extra deck to the graveyard, which gives you a free search of a Tri-Brigade card. I picked Fraktall because it had big stats. You can use it for beatdown, or to go into rank 4s with trap monsters. If you have 2+ Brigrand in the graveyard, you can also banish them to summon link monsters. It's optional, but I didn't want to give up the free card advantage in a control deck.
