Since Diabel's release, the format has doomed us to oblivion.
But now with Melodious, we can have better extending options.
Melodious Line
Best starter is ostinato, make bacha using 2 refrain. Bacha ss your third refrain, then refrain add couplet. Couplet effect can ss from GY your copy of refrain. Now you have bacha, and 2 refrain on field. Use Couplet pend eff to add Concerto, then use it to fus summon schuberta using pend scale couplet and 1 refrain. This will put your melodious to the pend scale. So you have Shuberta, Bacha, Refrain in field with your pend scales.
Then, you can start ss L2 Moon with Bacha and refrain, send Majesty.
Bacha will float into another refrain. From there, you can elaborate with your sources left in hand. Basic venusless agents with capability to pend summon your light monsters like diviner, or even Kristya.
Note that there is a different version by Neptune, using vortex and cross sheep. I am doing some test on that one too. stat tune!

Agents and Melodious don't make a good archtype combination, to be honest.
Melodious by itself has a poor end board, especially in the current meta with a lot of HT/boardbreaker in a Tenpai decks.
Agent x melodious give a lot more ceiling to the deck, which helps a both archtype in general.
I'll keep trying, and if we make it to M1, I hope to record a video.
Its for a combo line to resolve only earth.
Normal summon earth, add neptune. Earth into L1-Almiraj. Discard neptune, ss earth from GY. Make elf. Elf reborn earth. Make gigantic. Gigantic detach earth, ss diviner. Diviner send eva. Eva banish earth and neptune, add 2 fairies including orange. Make second elf with gigantic and diviner.
Oppo turn you can ss diviner with elf, send elder entity to pop 1 or send trias for next turn recursion to agent plays. Plus you have orange and its cost to neg and destroy.
Yeah, after playtesting a few hands, I realized that it's for the 1 card combo with Earth into Almiraj, thank you for explaining the rest of the line.
Hi. When you make your new video about this new deck, it would be possible to explain why you activate certain cards and not others, why act this way of playing and not others? Because I feel like there are lots of possibilities and, unfortunately, I don't know what is the best way to act... I know it will take you some time to do this kind of thing but it would be nice. Thanks again for what you do for the Agent deck! 🙂
In my deck, I made a few adjustments:
- +1 Apollousa (maybe swapped out Masquerade?) since Melodious can spam a lot of bodies for it.
- +1 Nibiru (I swapped out Gamma package)
- +1 Crossout (since there are a lot of staples)
Btw, there are around 15 handtraps. (3 Ash + 3 Roach + 3 Veiler + 3 Gamma pack + 3 Imperm) I fear the consistency will reduce when you go first. Since you don't run the Bystial package, extra draw from Regained will be missing, and if Maxx C doesn't resolve, gonna be hard)
Still, the decklist and combo notes are awesome. I'm climbing the ladder with Agent x Melo x Bystial now (50 cards)
